Duckie
Duckie makes the links between the legacy of British popular entertainment - from the modern day to the old days. A very, very, very mixed bill for a very, very mixed audience.
A complete change has occurred to the celebration of magic and illusion by Admission All Classes. We have joined forces with Showzam! Blackpool's Festival of Circus, Magic and New Variety (8 - 24th February 2008). Admission All Classes will be hosting two events as part of this festival. The first will kick off the celebration with the Whoopee Club Carnaval Ball and the second will be the flourish at the end of the festivities as Duckie comes to Blackpool.

Saturday 23rd February sees a 12th Birthday celebration of Duckie - the award winning club. It’s the Generation Game as hostess Miss Amy Lamé and music hall rap star pensioner Ida Barr introduce a bill of performance talent from artistes in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. Duckie, the Olivier Award winning company for Best Entertainment, makes the links between the legacy of British popular entertainment - from the modern day to the old days.

Starring the London Duckie Generation: Tina C, Ursula Martinez, Lucifire & Kalki La Hula It also Features the Blackpool Variety Veterans: 84 yr old living legend Mark Raffles, comedy magic cannonball champion Alec Powell, triumphant trombone troubadour Pete Lindup and Hoofer & Soubrette Vince Lorraine and his Wife.

Dance cards are issued as 'Readers Wifes' soundtrack the glamorous party. Visual installations with Robin Whitmore’s Dream Factory, Amy Lamé’s Pom-Pom International, and The Society of Wonders.

Dress to impress on a night that promises performance, fun, dancing and socializing.
